Carspecy is designed to help a used-car buyer ask better questions. We keep manufacturer-style specifications, reviewed model knowledge, seller claims and buyer-facing conclusions in separate evidence layers.
1. Catalog specifications
Vehicle dimensions, engine data, performance values and version details are stored as structured catalog records. Import gates check identity, physical plausibility, units and source-payload consistency before future datasets can be accepted.
Unknown values remain unknown. Carspecy does not fill gaps by guessing, copying a nearby trim or applying blind unit conversions.
2. Reviewed knowledge
Reliability notes, common problems and buying guidance belong to a separate reviewed-content layer. A claim should identify the exact generation or engine it applies to and retain its supporting source context.
A recurring issue is not a diagnosis of the vehicle in front of you. It is a reason to inspect, verify service history or ask a precise seller question.
3. Listing evidence
A Deep Report starts from the advert supplied by the buyer. Listing text and accessible listing content are treated as seller-provided claims unless independently supported by the Carspecy catalog or reviewed knowledge.
- The buyer confirms the detected make, model, generation and engine.
- The report distinguishes extracted claims from verified catalog facts.
- Missing photographs, service documents or inspection results are never invented.
4. Decision guidance
The output prioritises practical next steps: questions to ask before travelling, items to inspect, evidence to request and conditions that justify walking away. Carspecy does not inspect the vehicle. Risk wording reflects the available evidence and must not be read as a mechanical diagnosis, valuation guarantee or legal opinion.
What Carspecy cannot verify remotely
- The car's present mechanical condition or hidden damage.
- The authenticity of mileage, documents, ownership or service history.
- Whether a seller has omitted or misrepresented information.
- The final market value in a rapidly changing local market.
5. Corrections and change control
Catalog corrections are reviewed before publication. Existing vehicle URLs are preserved where possible, and physical columns must remain synchronized with their source payloads. The car page includes a structured “Report incorrect data” route for exact vehicle configurations.
